Description

A simple and delicious banana cream pie made with vanilla pudding and fresh bananas, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • Whipped cream (for topping)
  • Optional: chocolate shavings or banana slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the cold milk and instant vanilla pudding mix until thickened.
  2. Layer sliced bananas on the bottom of the baked pie crust.
  3. Pour the pudding mixture over the bananas, spreading it evenly.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 120 minutes to set.
  5. Top with whipped cream and garnish with chocolate shavings or extra banana slices if desired.

Notes

To prevent bananas from browning, toss them in lemon juice. This pie can be made a day in advance for convenience.
