Description

A delicious twist on classic meatloaf combining lean beef and turkey bacon with customizable stuffing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound lean beef
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Turkey bacon (amount as desired)
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Your choice of stuffing (e.g., cheese, vegetables, or mushrooms)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix together the lean beef, panko bread crumbs, milk, onion, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until well combined.
  3. Lay out the turkey bacon slices in a baking dish, slightly overlapping them.
  4. Place half of the meatloaf mixture on the bacon and flatten it out.
  5. Add your choice of stuffing in the center, then top with the remaining meatloaf mixture.
  6. Wrap the turkey bacon around the meatloaf, covering it completely.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 60-75 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  8. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Ensure the meatloaf is well mixed for shape, sauté onion and garlic for better flavor, and use a meat thermometer for doneness.
