A comforting one-pot meal combining ground beef, pasta, and a rich tomato sauce that’s easy to make.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup elbow macaroni
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  5. Add the elbow macaroni and reduce heat to low.
  6. Cover and simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the macaroni is tender, stirring occasionally and adding more water if needed.
  7. Serve hot.

Notes

For a creamier dish, stir in some sour cream or cream cheese just before serving. You can also add vegetables like bell peppers or corn for added nutrition.
