- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 cup elbow macaroni
- 3 cups water
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Bring the mixture to a boil.
- Add the elbow macaroni and reduce heat to low.
- Cover and simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the macaroni is tender, stirring occasionally and adding more water if needed.
- Serve hot.
Notes
For a creamier dish, stir in some sour cream or cream cheese just before serving. You can also add vegetables like bell peppers or corn for added nutrition.
