Ingredients

- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in another bowl until smooth.
- Add the vanilla and egg to the sugar mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
