Description

A delicious and traditional Mexican street food made with grilled corn, creamy sauces, and zesty toppings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ears of corn
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cotija cheese, crumbled
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat.
  2. Grill the corn for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and slightly charred.
  3. Mix together the mayonnaise, sour cream, lime juice, and chili powder in a bowl to create the sauce.
  4. Spread the mayo mixture over each ear of corn, then sprinkle with cotija cheese and salt.
  5. Garnish with cilantro if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

For a healthier option, try using yogurt instead of mayonnaise and sour cream. Grilling corn without the husk can enhance the smoky flavor.
