- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 slices bacon
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons garlic butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Burger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, and onion for toppings (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Form the ground beef into patties and season with salt and pepper. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking and cover to melt.
- Toast the burger buns in the remaining bacon grease.
- Assemble the burgers by spreading garlic butter on the buns, adding toppings, the cooked patty with cheese, and topping with bacon. Serve hot.
Notes
Use fresh ground beef for the best flavor. Adjust garlic butter to your taste and consider experimenting with different cheeses.
