Description

A comforting dish featuring tender chicken combined with stuffing, perfect for family meals.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 box stuffing mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the shredded chicken, stuffing mix, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Mix the chicken broth and sour cream in another bowl until well combined.
  4. Pour the chicken broth mixture into the chicken and stuffing mixture, and stir until everything is well combined.
  5. If using, add mixed vegetables and mix lightly.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is heated through.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

For a crunchy topping, consider sprinkling some breadcrumbs or cheese on top before baking. Use leftover or rotisserie chicken to save time.
