Description

A hearty dish featuring jumbo pasta shells stuffed with creamy ricotta, shredded chicken, and Cajun seasoning, topped with marinara and melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 pound chicken breast, cooked and shredded
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo shells according to package instructions and set them aside.
  3. Combine the cooked chicken, ricotta cheese, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  4. Stuff each shell with the chicken mixture.
  5. Spread half of the marinara sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Place the stuffed shells in the dish and cover with the remaining marinara sauce.
  7. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  8. Drizzle olive oil over the top and cover with foil.
  9. Bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a spicier kick, use extra Cajun seasoning or add diced jalapeños to the filling.
