Description
This chipotle garlic sauce with sour cream is a creamy, smoky condiment made with chipotle peppers in adobo, roasted garlic, lime, and paprika.
Ingredients

- 1 cup sour cream
- 1–2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce (adjust to taste)
- 2 cloves roasted garlic (or use raw for extra kick)
- 1 tbsp adobo sauce (from chipotle can)
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
- Wrap garlic cloves in foil with a little oil and roast at 400°F (200°C) for about 20 minutes, until soft and golden.
- In a blender or food processor, combine sour cream, chipotle peppers, adobo sauce, roasted garlic, lime juice, smoked paprika, and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth.
- Add more salt, lime juice, or chipotle to reach your preferred flavor and heat level.
- Transfer to a jar or bowl and chill 15–30 minutes for best flavor. Serve cold.

- This sauce is great for tacos, fries, burgers, and veggie dipping.
- You can adjust the heat level by changing the number of chipotle peppers.
