Description

A classic comfort food dish combining ground beef and turkey bacon, served in a savory gravy.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 ounces turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Combine ground beef, chopped turkey bacon, finely chopped onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the patties for about 5 minutes on each side, or until browned.
  5. Remove the patties from the skillet and set aside.
  6. Add beef broth to the same skillet and bring to a simmer.
  7. Return the patties to the skillet and cook for an additional 10 minutes, until cooked through and gravy thickens.
  8. Serve hot.

Notes

For best results, chill the patties for 30 minutes before cooking to help them retain their shape.
