Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ¼ tsp salt
- Optional: Powdered sugar for dusting or melted chocolate for drizzling
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in vanilla extract, then gradually add flour and salt until a smooth dough forms.

- Let cookies cool for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with melted chocolate if desired.
