A quick and easy method to achieve golden, crunchy Parmesan-crusted chicken using an air fryer.

- 4 boneless chicken breasts
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil spray
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Trim excess fat from chicken breasts and pound to an even thickness.
- Pat chicken dry and season both sides lightly with salt and pepper.
- In a shallow bowl, whisk the eggs until smooth.
- In another bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Dip each chicken breast into the egg wash, ensuring it’s fully coated.
- Press the chicken into the breadcrumb mixture, coating evenly on both sides.
- Lightly spray both sides of the chicken with olive oil spray.
- Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding and cook in batches if necessary.
- Air fry for 10 minutes. Flip the chicken and cook for an additional 8–10 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove the chicken and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, try mixing in some lemon zest or fresh herbs to the breadcrumb mixture.
