Description

Delightful Orange Chocolate Christmas Truffles infused with zesty orange and rich chocolate, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz dark or semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp freshly grated orange zest
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Cocoa powder, chopped nuts, or sprinkles for rolling

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it’s just boiling.
  2. Pour the heavy cream over the chopped chocolate in a bowl and let it sit for a few minutes, then stir until smooth.
  3. Add the powdered sugar, orange zest, and vanilla extract. Mix until well incorporated.
  4. Refrigerate the mixture for 1-2 hours until it’s set enough to handle.
  5. Scoop out small amounts and roll them into balls.
  6. Roll truffles in cocoa powder, chopped nuts, or sprinkles as desired.
  7. Store in an airtight container in the fridge until ready to serve.
