One-Skillet Cajun Honey Garlic Sausage & Rice is an incredible dish that combines flavorful sausage with rice and vegetables.

- 1 pound Cajun sausage (sliced)
- 1 cup long-grain rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 medium onion (diced)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 bell pepper (diced)
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the sliced Cajun sausage to the skillet and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the sausage and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the diced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the long-grain rice, mixing well to coat with the oil and vegetables.
- Add the chicken broth, Cajun seasoning, honey, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and liquid is absorbed.
- Return the cooked sausage to the skillet and stir well. Allow it to heat through for another 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
