Description

Chewy, chocolatey oatmeal fudge bars that are foolproof, crowd-pleasing, and perfect for bake sales, potlucks, or last-minute guests.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats (Not quick oats)
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar (Packed)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (Softened)
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line 9×13-inch pan with parchment.
  2. Mix oat base ingredients until fully combined.
  3. Press oat mixture into pan, melt chocolate filling, and spread over base.
  4. Add crumble topping and bake until golden brown.
  5. Cool completely, lift from pan, and cut into bars.
