Instructions
- Trim excess fat from the chuck roast and cut it into large chunks.
- Season the beef chunks generously with taco seasoning.
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the diced onion until translucent, then add minced garlic for one minute.
- Place the seasoned beef in the slow cooker, top with sautéed onions and garlic, and pour in beef broth until just covered.
- Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours until tender.
