- 2 cups Water (for brewing tea)
- 4 bags Black Tea Bags (or loose leaf tea)
- 2 cups Ripe Mango (or frozen mango cubes)
- 2 tablespoons Honey (adjust to taste)
- as needed Ice (to keep drink chilled)
Instructions
- Heat 2 cups of water in a kettle until it reaches a rolling boil.
- Add the black tea bags (or loose leaf) to the boiling water in a large pitcher. Let it steep for 10 minutes.
- In a saucepan, combine 2 cups of water with diced ripe mango (or frozen mango cubes). Bring this to a boil and simmer for about 10 minutes, mashing the mango gently with a fork to create a puree.
- Carefully strain the mango puree into the pitcher of brewed tea.
- Stir in honey until fully dissolved. Taste your mixture and adjust sweetness as desired.
- Allow the tea to cool before serving over ice. For the final touch, garnish with fresh mango slices.
