Description

Enjoy a refreshing sip of Mango Iced Tea, the perfect summer drink blending tropical mango sweetness with robust black tea.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups Water (for brewing tea)
  • 4 bags Black Tea Bags (or loose leaf tea)
  • 2 cups Ripe Mango (or frozen mango cubes)
  • 2 tablespoons Honey (adjust to taste)
  • as needed Ice (to keep drink chilled)

Instructions

  1. Heat 2 cups of water in a kettle until it reaches a rolling boil.
  2. Add the black tea bags (or loose leaf) to the boiling water in a large pitcher. Let it steep for 10 minutes.
  3. In a saucepan, combine 2 cups of water with diced ripe mango (or frozen mango cubes). Bring this to a boil and simmer for about 10 minutes, mashing the mango gently with a fork to create a puree.
  4. Carefully strain the mango puree into the pitcher of brewed tea.
  5. Stir in honey until fully dissolved. Taste your mixture and adjust sweetness as desired.
  6. Allow the tea to cool before serving over ice. For the final touch, garnish with fresh mango slices.
