A delicious and comforting casserole that combines all the flavors of a classic cheeseburger while being low in carbs.

- 8 slices of bacon
- 1 lb ground beef (lean)
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped jalapeños, sautéed mushrooms
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Remove, crumble, and set aside. Reserve some grease.
- In the same skillet, brown ground beef with onion and garlic until beef is cooked and onion is soft. Stir in smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Lower heat and mix in cream cheese until melted. Stir in crumbled bacon and spread the mixture in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, and mustard. Slowly mix in half of the cheddar and mozzarella.
- Pour the egg mixture over the beef layer and top with remaining cheese.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes until set and golden on top.
- Allow cooling slightly before cutting and serve optional garnishes if desired.
