Description

Jumbo Pepperoni-Stuffed Pizza Spiral is an incredible recipe that combines pizza flavors into an easy-to-make spiral.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • ½ cup marinara sauce (for dipping)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Flour (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Lightly flour a clean surface and roll out the pizza dough into a rectangular shape, about ¼ inch thick.
  3. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the rolled-out dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Add pepperoni slices on top of the cheese, ensuring an even distribution.
  5. Sprinkle Italian seasoning over the pepperoni and cheese for added flavor.
  6. Starting from one edge, carefully roll the dough into a tight spiral.
  7. Pinch the edges of the dough to seal the spiral.
  8. Using a sharp knife, cut the rolled dough into 1-inch thick slices.
  9. Place the sliced spirals on the prepared baking sheet, cut side up.
  10. In a small bowl, whisk the egg and brush it over the top of each spiral.
  11. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  12. Once baked, remove the spirals from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes before serving.
