- 1 box Chocolate Pudding
- 2 cups Whole Milk
- 8 oz Cool Whip (or Whipped Topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Mix the ricotta cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth, then incorporate the eggs until creamy.
- Prepare the chocolate cake mix with canola oil, water, and eggs; whisk until smooth.
- Pour the chocolate batter into the greased baking dish, then layer the ricotta mixture on top.
- Bake for 1 hour to 1 hour and 10 minutes, or until the center jiggles slightly.
- Cool the cake to room temperature before adding the frosting.
- Prepare the chocolate pudding according to package instructions and fold in Cool Whip.
- Spread the chocolate pudding frosting over the cooled cake and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
