A quick and easy Oreo cookie cake featuring a crumbly Oreo base and creamy Oreo buttercream, perfect for any celebration.

- 1 box of chocolate cake mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1 to 1.5 cups crushed Oreo cookies
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- Additional Oreos for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a large bowl, combine chocolate cake mix, eggs, melted butter, and milk. Mix until smooth.
- Gently fold in the crushed Oreo cookies.
- Divide the batter between the prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow cakes to cool for 10 minutes in the pans, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- In a mixing bowl, beat heavy cream and softened butter until fluffy. Gradually add powdered sugar and fold in crushed Oreos.
- Place one cake layer on a serving plate, spread frosting on top, then place the second layer on top. Frost the top and sides with remaining frosting.
- Garnish with whole Oreos and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before slicing.
Notes
For a more personalized touch, you can customize the frosting by adding espresso powder or using different flavored cookies.
