Description

Irresistible Fiery Chicken Ramen with Creamy Garlic Sauce is a flavorful and comforting dish. This recipe combines spicy chicken and a rich garlic sauce with ramen noodles for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 packs of ramen noodles
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust for spice level)
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup baby spinach
  • ½ cup scallions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (for thickening)

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and let rest.
  3. In a pot, combine chicken broth, soy sauce, sriracha, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a boil.
  4. Add ramen noodles to the boiling broth and cook according to package instructions (3-4 minutes).
  5. In a separate bowl, mix heavy cream and corn starch liquid. Slowly add to the broth, stirring constantly until slightly thickened.
  6. Thinly slice the cooked chicken thighs.
  7. Once noodles are cooked, add spinach and scallions to the pot. Stir to combine.
  8. Add sliced chicken back into the pot and heat through.
  9. Ladle the ramen into bowls, ensuring each serving has noodles, chicken, and vegetables.
  10. Drizzle with sesame oil and additional sriracha before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh ingredients for maximum flavor.
  • Adjust sauce consistency by adding more broth or less corn starch.
  • A squeeze of lime juice before serving enhances flavors.
  • For a vegetarian option, substitute chicken with tofu or mushrooms.
  • For a seafood twist, use shrimp or scallops.
  • Try udon or soba noodles for a different texture.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • To freeze, separate broth and chicken. Broth can be frozen for up to 2 months.
  • Use boneless chicken breast or leftover rotisserie chicken if desired.
  • Substitute sriracha with chili garlic sauce or your favorite hot sauce.
  • Use gluten-free ramen and gluten-free soy sauce for a gluten-free option.
  • Reheat broth gently on the stove and add noodles to warm them.
