- 2 cups broccoli, chopped
- 2 cups cauliflower, chopped
- 1 lb sausage of choice, cooked
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, brown the sausage over medium heat until fully cooked (about 10 minutes).
- In a mixing bowl, combine cooked sausage, broccoli, cauliflower, garlic, onion, and seasonings.
- Stir in heavy cream and half of the cheese until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into a baking dish, top with remaining cheese, and bake for 15 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Let cool briefly before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
For extra crispiness, broil on high for the last 2 minutes. Can be customized with various cheeses and vegetables.
