- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 large apples, peeled and diced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- ½ cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan and set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, oil, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in the diced apples.
- Transfer the batter into the prepared cake pan. Bake for 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove and allow to cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
