Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (basil, oregano, and thyme)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. In one bowl, beat the eggs. In another bowl, mix the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, and Italian herbs.
  4. Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off. Then coat it thoroughly in the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place the breaded chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown.
  6. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  7. Drizzle the rich garlic sauce over the crispy chicken and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
