- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg.
- Dip each chicken breast in the egg, then coat with the Parmesan mixture.
- Lightly brush the air fryer basket with olive oil.
- Place chicken in the air fryer and cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Serve hot.
Notes
Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness for uniform cooking. Chill coated chicken for 2-3 minutes before cooking to help the crust adhere better.
