Description

A rich and creamy pasta dish featuring tender steak and garlic butter sauce.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb sirloin steak
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the sirloin steak with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the steak and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until cooked to desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and let rest.
  5. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  7. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  8. Slice the steak into strips and return to the sauce.
  9. Toss the cooked fettuccine in the sauce until well coated.
  10. Serve garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For an extra kick, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
