- ½ cup (1 stick / 113 g) unsalted butter, melted
- ½ cup (100 g) granulated sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- Optional glaze:
- ½ cup (60 g) powdered sugar
- 1–2 tbsp milk
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- In a small bowl, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon until well combined. Set aside.
- Separate the biscuits and cut each one into 4–6 small pieces using a knife or kitchen scissors.
- In another bowl, pour melted butter. Dip each biscuit piece into the butter, coating completely.
- Roll each buttered piece in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until evenly coated.
- Place on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them slightly apart.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the bites are puffed and golden brown.
- While biscuit bites cool slightly, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to create a glaze.
- Drizzle over warm bites for extra sweetness.
- Serve warm and enjoy with coffee, tea, or hot chocolate.
Notes
- Use buttermilk or flaky biscuit dough for the best texture.
- Coat evenly in butter and cinnamon sugar for perfect browning.
- Do not overcrowd the baking sheet for even baking.
- Sprinkle coarse sugar on top before baking for extra crunch.
- Reheat leftovers in the oven for 5 minutes to restore freshness.
