Description

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups Oreo cookie crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • ¼ cup Christmas sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Pan & Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and wrap the springform pan with aluminum foil.
  2. Make the Red Velvet Crust: Combine Oreo crumbs with melted butter and sugar, press into the pan, and bake for 8-10 minutes.
  3. Prepare the Cheesecake Filling: Mix cream cheese with sugar, vanilla, cocoa powder, and food coloring. Fold in whipped cream and sprinkles, then pour over the crust.
  4. Bake the Cheesecake: Bake at 325°F (160°C) in a water bath until edges are set but center jiggles slightly.
  5. Cool & Chill: Turn off the oven and let it cool for 1 hour, then refrigerate for at least 6-8 hours.
  6. Decorate & Serve: Top with whipped cream and sprinkles before slicing.
