- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon red food coloring
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- ¼ cup Christmas sprinkles
Instructions
- Prepare Your Pan & Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and wrap the springform pan with aluminum foil.
- Make the Red Velvet Crust: Combine Oreo crumbs with melted butter and sugar, press into the pan, and bake for 8-10 minutes.
- Prepare the Cheesecake Filling: Mix cream cheese with sugar, vanilla, cocoa powder, and food coloring. Fold in whipped cream and sprinkles, then pour over the crust.
- Bake the Cheesecake: Bake at 325°F (160°C) in a water bath until edges are set but center jiggles slightly.
- Cool & Chill: Turn off the oven and let it cool for 1 hour, then refrigerate for at least 6-8 hours.
- Decorate & Serve: Top with whipped cream and sprinkles before slicing.
