Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp water
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 stalk green onions, diced
  • 2 tbsp neutral oil
  • 2 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 0.5 tbsp gochugaru/chili powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Whisk your eggs in a measuring cup until well combined, creating a smooth mixture.
  2. Combine the whisked eggs with an equal amount of water in the measuring cup.
  3. Strain the egg mixture through a sieve into separate bowls or one large bowl.
  4. Cover the bowls with foil or saran wrap, then poke a small hole with a fork.
  5. Steam the eggs over medium heat for 10-12 minutes.
  6. Sauté the minced garlic and diced green onions in neutral oil over medium-low heat for 3-4 minutes.
  7. Mix the rest of the sauce ingredients with the garlic and green onion mixture.
  8. Serve the steamed eggs in their bowls, drenching them with the soy garlic sauce.
