Ingredients

  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups diced apples (about 2 medium apples)
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, whisk eggs, melted butter, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Fold in the diced apples and dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
  5. Spread half the batter in the prepared loaf pan.
  6. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the batter.
  7. Top with the remaining batter.
  8. Drizzle the remaining caramel sauce over the top and swirl gently with a knife.
  9. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
