Description
Cajun Garlic Chicken Wings: An Amazing Ultimate Recipe
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). If frying, heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine Cajun seasoning, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.
- Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss them in the marinade until fully coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes. For deeper flavor, marinate for 1-2 hours in the refrigerator.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup. Place the marinated wings in a single layer on the sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through to ensure even cooking and crispiness. If frying, cook in batches for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Ensure the internal temperature of the wings reaches 165°F (75°C). The wings should be crispy and golden brown.
- Once cooked, remove from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
