Description

Savory BLT Egg Sliders That Will Wow Your Taste Buds

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large Hard-Cooked Eggs (Use the freshest eggs for best flavor.)
  • 6 slices Double-Smoked Bacon (Can substitute with turkey bacon.)
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise (Greek yogurt can be used as an alternative.)
  • 1 tablespoon Capers (Omit if you’re not a fan.)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Dill (Dried dill can be substituted.)
  • 2 tablespoons Chives (Scallions can serve as a great alternative.)
  • 1 teaspoon Grainy Mustard (Whole grain or yellow mustard works too.)
  • 6 leaves Lettuce (Iceberg or Leaf) (Any leafy green can be used.)
  • 12 slices Cocktail Tomatoes (Cherry tomatoes are a great substitute.)
  • 12 picks Cocktail Picks (Can replace with toothpicks.)
  • to taste Dill and Everything Bagel Seasoning (Customize seasoning to your liking.)

Instructions

  1. Boil Eggs: Place the hard-cooked eggs in a pot, cover them with cold water, and bring to a boil. Once boiling, turn off the heat and let them sit for 9 minutes for perfectly cooked yolks.
  2. Cool Eggs: Carefully transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool completely.
  3. Cook Bacon: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the double-smoked bacon until crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Prepare Filling: Halve each cooled egg lengthwise and scoop the yolks into a bowl. Mix with mayonnaise, capers, dill, chives, and mustard until creamy.
  5. Fill Eggs: Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.
  6. Assemble Sliders: Top each filled egg with a slice of bacon, lettuce, and a tomato slice.
  7. Secure with Picks: Use a cocktail pick to hold the layers together.
