- 1 cup elbow macaroni
- 4 slices bacon, crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped onions (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with onions on medium heat for about 10 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, mix cooked macaroni, ground beef mixture, crumbled bacon, cheddar, and mozzarella cheese.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the milk mixture over the pasta and meat mixture, stir to combine, and spread evenly in a greased casserole dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let the casserole cool for 5 minutes before serving.
