Description
Almond Crescent Cookies are delicate, buttery treats with a nutty flavor. They are made from a blend of all-purpose flour and almond flour, lightly dusted with powdered sugar.

- 1 cup of butter, room temperature
- 2/3 cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of almond extract
- 2 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of almond flour (can substitute ground almonds)
- 1/4 cup of powdered sugar for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the vanilla and almond extracts and mix until combined.
- Gradually add the all-purpose flour and almond flour to the butter mixture. Mix to form a slightly crumbly dough.
- Take generous tablespoons of dough and roll each into a small ball about an inch in diameter. Shape each ball into a crescent and place them on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until light golden brown around the edges.
- Allow the cookies to cool slightly on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack. Dust each cookie with powdered sugar.
